On September 29, the 14th International Conference “Sustainable Development in Management. Science – Business – Self-Government” was held online, hosted by Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland).
The co-organizers of the conference included several Polish higher education institutions – WSB University in Poznań, Warsaw School of Economics, University of Rzeszów, Lublin University of Technology, and Warsaw University of Technology. They were joined by Ukrainian institutions – M. I. Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University, and the NGO “Intellectual Space.”
The conference brought together scholars in the fields of management, finance, and regional development from Germany, Poland, Georgia, Malaysia, Bahrain, and Ukraine. In addition to the plenary session, there were two thematic sections dedicated to management for sustainable development and innovative ecosystems for the development of regions and communities.
Within the framework of the second section, Olha Sych, a member of the UkraineDigiTrans project team from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, delivered a presentation titled “Enhancing Digital Skills and Resilience of University Educators.”Her presentation outlined the concepts of digital skills and digital resilience, highlighted the advantages and challengesof implementing digital tools in the educational process, and proposed institutional-level steps to strengthen educators’ resilience in the digital age. The report sparked interest and discussion among participants about potential collaborative research on integrating AI into education.
The event became a platform for experience exchange, discussion of innovative ideas and modern approaches to regional sustainable development, green entrepreneurship, and digital transformation management in education.
