On September 29, the XIV International Conference "Sustainable Development in Management Science - Business - Self-Government" was held online at the Częstochowa Polytechnic (Poland). The conference was co-organized by Polish HEIs - the Higher School of Banking in Poznań, the Warsaw School of Economics, the University of Rzeszów, the Lublin Polytechnic University, and the Warsaw Polytechnic University. They were joined by domestic institutions - the M. I. Dolishny Institute for Regional Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University, and the NGO "Intellectual Space".
The conference brought together scholars in the fields of management, finance, and regional studies from Germany, Poland, Georgia, Malaysia, Bahrain, and Ukraine. In addition to the plenary session, two sectional sessions were held on management for sustainable development and innovative ecosystems for the development of regions and communities.
In the second section, Olga Sych, a member of the UkraineDigiTrans project team from the I. Franko National University of Lviv, gave a report on “Improving digital skills and resilience of teachers in higher education institutions.” The presentation outlined the concepts of digital skills and digital resilience, presented the advantages and bottlenecks of implementing digital tools in the educational process. Finally, steps were proposed at the institutional level to increase the resilience of teachers in the digital age. The report aroused the interest of the conference participants and the discussion of the possibility of further joint research on the implementation of AI in the educational process.
The event became a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing innovative ideas and modern approaches to sustainable regional development, green entrepreneurship, and managing digital transformation in education.
