A Week of Digital Transformation in Education within the UkraineDigiTrans Project
29.04.2025
As part of the international UkraineDigiTrans project, a five-day Training of Trainers program took place, dedicated to rethinking higher education in the context of digital transformation.
The training gathered representatives from Ukrainian universities who are actively working to integrate digital approaches into their teaching and are committed to driving meaningful change within their institutions.
Throughout the week, participants explored key topics that shape modern teaching and learning practices:
- Digital transformation in education: the evolving role of educators, innovative teaching approaches, and course design.
- Educational media and digital tools: using interactive platforms such as Menti, Miro, and Forms to engage students effectively.
- Online course development: from crafting a pedagogical script to ensuring interactivity and piloting new or revised courses.
- Microlearning and microcontent: exploring how short, focused learning formats can be applied in higher education.
- Artificial intelligence in education: discovering the potential of AI and practical examples of its integration into teaching.
- Organizational resilience and cybersecurity: tools and strategies for building secure and sustainable learning environments, with ideas already emerging for university-based training courses.
- Ethical aspects and well-being in digital education: workshops aimed at fostering a shared understanding of ethical issues and supporting the well-being of both educators and students in digital settings.
Sincere thanks to the international trainers from Finland and Greece for their inspiring sessions, practical insights, and valuable experience shared with the participants.
This training week became a powerful platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building, and a collective move toward innovative and resilient education for the future.
